One
of southern Massachusetts' premier blues, R&B, funk and
soul bands, serving up an eclectic blend of originals and
not-so-traditional covers. Guitarists and singers Fay Adams
and Jeff Adams belt out the front end, while drummer Bob Tula,
organist Don Lavin, and bassist Stephen Stavropoulos maintain
an infectious, dancing groove. |

The Wildcats are pleased join Black Rose Records, an independent label out of
Saugus, MA, launched in 1980, by Al Cocorochio, blues visionary and supporter of the local music scene.
The Wildcats' sound engineer and producer, Ducky Carlisle, a genius in the studio, with "ears of gold",
has recorded numerous successful projects and worked with such notables as Johnny Winter
and Sue Tedeschi, who had a couple of Grammy nominations for Ducky’s recordings of
the hit tunes, "Rock Me Right" and "Hurts So Bad" (written and produced by Tom
Hambridge, former Black Rose artist).
The Wildcats were in the studio for the month of May 2002 and expect a late summer release.
